Client: From Scratch (Art Institute)

From Scratch was a fully designed from the ground up publication. The magazine covers souther art and culture to include music, food, and and other forms of entertainment.

The magazine itself contains weekly articles, main features, support pieces, and ads aswell.

1. Problem

The Project itself was layout driven. The project was being given all content and pictures at once and the goal was to reach a certian page count with each section and not go over.

2. Design

The key to this design was to start using a consistant grid system to help make the flow of the magazine flow.

3. Result

The overall resulting design was rustic but colorfull in appearance. Printed perfect bound on 8.5x11 pages.
